California AB1825
|
What is California AB 1825?
California AB 1825 requires recurrent sexual harassment training in the state of California; any employer that conducts business within the state and has more than 50 employees must provide two hours of sexual harassment training every two years to supervisors.
The law was implemented to increase the amount of mandated training for all occupations in California and its stringent requirements supersede those of the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission statutes. The bill is a precedent for sexual harassment prevention and effective workplace compliance training not only in California but throughout the rest of the country.
